Clinical Nurse - East Valley Emergency Department

Position Summary

We are excited to announce opportunities in our new East Valley Hospital Emergency Department with a planned opening end of 2026 to early 2027. Our East Valley Pediatric Emergency Department will have 24 beds including safer rooms and trauma bays. Also, within our East Valley Hospital will be 6 ORs, 60 NICU beds, and 24 bed acute care floor, some with ICU capabilities.

ED, pediatric, or critical care experience preferred. Our environment requires those with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, excellent communication and teamwork, as well as the desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic setting. Eligible internal candidates that apply will receive further instruction on how to share shift and FTE preferences for consideration.

Available shifts are:

• 7:00am - 7:30pm
• 11:00am - 11:30pm
• 7:00pm - 7:30am

There are full-time, part-time and PRN positions available

This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)

• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
