Weekend Admissions Coordinator (Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation - TBD based on experience.

Scheduled Hours - Saturday/Sunday approx. 8:30a-5pm. Monday shift available.

The Center at Val Vista is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our highly qualified, caring staff provides care in a beautiful, hotel‑like atmosphere to help our patients achieve strength and functionality. Skilled‑nursing care, family involvement, psychological care and discharge planning complement a well‑rounded, individualized program and encourage each patient’s transition to their highest functional level.

We are currently looking for a weekend admissions coordinator to join our weekend pool. This fast‑paced position requires a positive team member who can work well under pressure and is comfortable with multi‑tasking.

• Receive and follow work schedule/instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established policies and procedures.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Attach and document preadmission information/paperwork in the EMR system.
• Abide by all HIPAA requirements – maintain confidentiality.
• Obtain insurance authorization.
• Scan, fax, email, and perform other clerical duties as required.

• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Possess a valid fingerprint clearance card.
