Four Peaks Medical Center – 1301 S Crismon Rd, Mesa, AZ 85209.

Night Shift – Monday to Thursday 21:00 to 07:30 (4×10).

• JOB SUMMARY
  :
  The RN practices under the ANA Standard and Code of Ethics, providing comprehensive patient care including assessment, diagnostic testing, medication administration, IV management, therapies, and patient education. The RN develops and implements individualized care plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, mentors new staff, and advances clinical knowledge.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  :
• Collect health data systematically and prioritize collection based on patient condition and family involvement.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and craft evidence‑based, family‑centered care plans.
• Identify individualized expected outcomes and execute interventions per nursing practice standards.
• Initiate treatments, medications, and emergency measures using standing orders and policies.
• Provide comprehensive care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and social‑cultural patient needs.
• Document observations, interventions, therapeutic measures, and monitoring data in a retrievable format.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care plans to maintain high‑quality, cost‑effective care.
• Self‑evaluate nursing practice against professional standards and maintain current knowledge.
• Integrate ethical principles and enhance cultural competence for diverse populations.
• Collaborate with peers and multidisciplinary team members, fostering professional development through mentorship.
• Apply evidence‑based research to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes.
• Consider safety, effectiveness, and cost in care planning and resource utilization.

• All Diploma and ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years of RN experience (direct patient care or indirect RN roles) at time of hire.
• Associate in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Required 10+ months experience in a med‑surg or acute specialty setting.
• Required 1 year RN experience for all float positions.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (state or compact) required.
• Preferred:
  National certification for unit‑specific patient populations.
