Operating Room Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM, with expectations of additional hours as scheduled. Candidates must be available for weekday shifts and weekend/holiday on-call responsibilities as per department guidelines.

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Nurse with a minimum of 24 months of recent experience. This position requires a proactive approach to patient care and familiarity with OR procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality care.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions during the surgical process.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 24 months of recent Operating Room experience.
• Current Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS, BLS, PALS).
• Driver's License to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
