Role Description The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for cats and dogs, including performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and conducting follow-up evaluations. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, recommending preventive care, and documenting medical records accurately and efficiently. The role involves communicating clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and home care instructions, while supporting a positive, collaborative culture with veterinary technicians and support staff.

Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility for Arizona veterinary licensure.
- Clinical proficiency in small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry, including diagnostics, anesthesia, and pain management for cats and dogs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain medical information clearly to clients and collaborate effectively with the veterinary team.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records, follow clinic protocols, and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
- Commitment to compassionate, fear-reducing handling of animals and a client-centered approach to veterinary care.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, stay current with veterinary best practices, and adapt to new technologies and treatment methods.
- Experience in a small animal clinic or hospital setting is preferred; new graduates with a strong interest in mentorship are encouraged to apply.
