Quality Assurance Coordinator I (1st shift)
The Quality Assurance Coordinator I is responsible for tracking, reviewing, and evaluating all processing documents accompanying the manufacture and packaging of products. This role prepares final documents for product disposition and assists QA Leaders in monitoring support on the packaging floor. The Quality Assurance Coordinator I reports to the shift Quality Leader.
Key Responsibilities- On‑time batch record releases with 100% accuracy.
- Independently review and approve batch record documentation.
- Assemble and review all manufacturing or packaging documents, processing steps, and laboratory test records.
- Sample, inspect, and review documentation of components, labels, and finished goods for proper disposition.
- Calculate product yields and reconcile deviations.
- Review non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and change controls for completion and accuracy.
- Have authority to release the product if all required documents are complete, accurate, and results are within established specifications.
- Approve batch record minor NCRs and batch production change‑control NCRs as needed.
- Communicate problems to production supervisors and/or managers.
- Resubmit documentation for corrective action where required.
- Enter processing document information into the computer system database.
- Report findings to QA/QC supervisor and/or managers where required.
- Make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Enter disposition into the computer system.
- Prepare reject notices for non‑conforming product, components, or labels.
- Attend meetings and communicate daily quality performance.
- Conduct in‑process audits and testing as assigned to support company programs and established procedures.
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent with mathematics as a required course. Exposure to chemistry and college mathematics would be a plus.
- One to three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Quality preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills in data entry and processing.
- Ability to conduct mathematical calculations.
- Attention to detail.
- Support department, site, and company KPIs, pQRFT, and dQRFT metrics.
- Ability to problem‑solve and troubleshoot production issues related to quality and/or operational issues while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with multiple levels of employees (employees, supervisor, manager, etc.) and across multiple functions.
- Subject matter expert in their work area to aid in the identification of sustainable solutions to address systemic issues.
- Working knowledge of equipment, safety, quality, and computer systems.

Compensation and BenefitsNational Target Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $66,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $45,000.00 - $74,000.00. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job‑related skills.
Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits.
