Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Engineering Inspector I - LTA

The Engineering Inspector I - LTA position reports to the Engineering Inspections Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform inspections and coordinate related inspection activities.
- Ensure utility installations are installed at proper depth and alignment as noted in the approved plans and adopted standards.
- Perform pre-construction meetings with contractors and utility providers.
- Ensure dry utility installations meet Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Standards and details, as well as all adopted Town Standards.
- Document and enter inspection information in computer databases.
- Document inspections in the Town's electronic permitting software.
This is a limited-term agreement (LTA) position, eligible for renewal each fiscal year through the completion of the project. These positions are at-will and FLSA Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime compensation.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- 1‑2 years of experience in engineering, project management, construction inspection, materials testing, or related field.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job classification.
- Valid AZ Driver's License.
