Quality Inspector - Aerospace

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Confirms incoming materials meet material, and all required specifications.
• Programs Micro-Vu visual measurement system. Evaluates and verifies Keyence data using manual measurement methods.
• Interface with procurement and engineering to ensure non-conformances are addressed in a timely manner.
• Maintains quality records in accordance with required AS9100 Requirements, FAA requirements, and internal process/procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work from electrical drawings, MIL-STD specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be proficient at Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerance.
• Must be capable of utilizing standard inspection instruments, tools, and gauges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Minimum three to five years of inspection / quality experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• J-STD certification a plus.
