Job OverviewWe are looking for a driven, team player who is passionate about providing exceptional service as a Kitchen Lead. The Kitchen Lead assists the Kitchen Manager in managing the preparation of food items, inventory, ordering, and daily kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant/bowling and entertainment center.

As a Kitchen Lead, you'll begin each shift with a team huddle to set daily goals and priorities. Throughout the day, you'll assist with making orders, food prep, and guiding the kitchen team to maintain quality and efficiency. You'll manage inventory, monitor food costs, and address challenges to keep operations running smoothly. At the end of the shift, you'll review performance, ensure cleaning tasks are completed, and share updates with management.
Responsibilities- Foster a positive and professional team environment that aligns with company values and enhances guest satisfaction.
- Provide leadership to the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with management objectives.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established recipes and standards.
- Lead training initiatives to promote safe practices, sanitation, and culinary excellence among kitchen staff.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained, clean, and operational through routine inspections and preventative measures.
- Optimize kitchen operations by addressing staffing, maintaining compliance with policies, and upholding a commitment to exceptional food and service quality.
Candidates should have prior leadership experience in food service and possess a food handler's permit before starting employment. Completion of job safety training is required, along with the ability to lead effectively by modeling composure, fostering teamwork, and upholding core leadership principles. A personable yet professional demeanor is essential for success in this role.
