Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

Responsibilities

Be a Team Member – collaborate with others to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.

Be an Expert – demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; and apply knowledge of Point of Sale systems and phone and in‑person selling techniques.

Be a Techie – leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.

Be an Owner – communicate equipment and supply needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report TBC complaints, safety hazards, and problems, complete paperwork and logs, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies.

Be a Talent Ambassador – act as a brand advocate who values the member experience, models high‑quality service and products, and inspires others with a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style, while assisting in training team members.

Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Respect the Individual – embrace differences, create a supportive culture of belonging, build strong relationships, and motivate and influence the team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid state‑issued driver's license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Auto service industry experience.
  • Retail experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
