The Part Time Sales Associate role at Lovesac is a customer-facing position responsible for delivering a welcoming, informative, and engaging in-store experience. This is a part‑time, on‑site role based in Gilbert, AZ, working on the showroom floor to support daily store operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, demonstrating product features, and recommending furniture solutions that align with Lovesac’s Total Comfort™ philosophy.
The Sales Associate will process transactions, maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the showroom clean and organized. The role also involves learning product details, following company policies, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage with diverse customers, build rapport, and support purchasing decisions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to clearly explain product features, listen actively, and work effectively with teammates and store leadership.
- Basic retail operations skills, such as point-of-sale use, cash handling, inventory assistance, and maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards.
- Comfort with learning product information and adapting to new processes, tools, and promotional campaigns.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move furniture and showroom items as needed, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and contribute to team results is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
