We are looking for two motivated Area Sales Managers for the Southwest (USA) (m/f/d) with experience in electronics sales or a related technical sales field.
Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction
- Conduct regular outreach (calls, emails, visits) to build and nurture customer relationships
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and value‑based proposals
- Track opportunities, leads, and activities using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
- Provide basic product guidance, including explaining features, benefits, and applications
- Coordinate with engineering or product teams when deeper technical support is needed
- Assist with product demos, sample coordination, and customer onboarding
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally with an electronics distributor or technical products supplier
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with electronic components, test equipment, or related technologies preferred
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, or similar)
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel as required
