Position: Area Sales Manager for the Southwest (USA) (m/f/d)

We are looking for two motivated Area Sales Managers for the Southwest (USA) (m/f/d) with experience in electronics sales or a related technical sales field.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction
  • Conduct regular outreach (calls, emails, visits) to build and nurture customer relationships
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and value‑based proposals
  • Track opportunities, leads, and activities using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Provide basic product guidance, including explaining features, benefits, and applications
  • Coordinate with engineering or product teams when deeper technical support is needed
  • Assist with product demos, sample coordination, and customer onboarding
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally with an electronics distributor or technical products supplier
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with electronic components, test equipment, or related technologies preferred
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel as required
