Entry-Level Sales Representative — Paid Training | $75k - $200k Realistic OTE | Base + Commission

Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team - no experience necessary!

In this role, you’ll help homeowners and businesses understand the benefits of solar energy and find solutions tailored to their needs. You’ll build relationships, educate customers, and drive sales in a fast-growing renewable energy industry.

This position offers two potential career tracks depending on your strengths and goals:

Inside Sales Track
  • Work with inbound leads and scheduled consultations
  • Educate customers and guide them through solar options remotely or in-office
Outside Sales Track
  • Generate new opportunities through community outreach and door-to-door prospecting
  • Meet homeowners directly and schedule consultations for solar solutions

Both tracks offer uncapped commission, industry-leading training, and clear advancement opportunities.

  • Base pay + uncapped commission
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 – $200,000+

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and Generate Leads - Identify and engage potential customers through door-to-door outreach, inbound inquiries, referrals, community events, and digital tools.
  • Consultative Sales - Conduct needs assessments with homeowners and business owners to recommend customized solar and energy-efficiency solutions.
  • Product Expertise - Educate customers on Bright Home Energy’s offerings including solar panel systems, battery storage, system monitoring, and whole-home energy upgrades.
  • Presentations & Proposals - Deliver clear and engaging sales presentations and explain financial benefits such as utility savings, tax credits, and incentives.
  • Close Sales - Manage sales transactions from initial contact through contract signing while ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Relationship Building - Maintain positive relationships through follow-up, answering questions, and encouraging referrals.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communicator - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build trust.
  • Customer-Focused - Passionate about helping customers save money and transition to clean energy.
  • Driven & Goal-Oriented - Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Adaptable - Comfortable working independently or on a team in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Transportation - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Sales Experience - Previous sales experience is helpful but not required — paid training is provided.
