Tactical Security Officer - Access Control

Job Description

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Chandler, AZ. The role involves patrolling high‑security environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, identifying and responding to threats, and supporting law enforcement when necessary.

• Site location:
  Chandler, AZ
• Schedule options:
  Part‑time shift (Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm) or full‑time shift (Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 pm–6:00 pm)
• Competitive hourly wage of $19.50 per hour (Daily Pay available)

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass a comprehensive screening process
• First‑aid certification (asset)
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred
• Arizona guard license

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening after offer of employment is extended.
