Electrical Apprentices - Tonopah, Arizona (Job Number: 387005)

Job Overview:
An Electrical Apprentice works under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain hands‑on experience and knowledge in the field. Responsibilities include performing a variety of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Positions are available in Tonopah, Arizona.

Compensation: $21 to $31 per hour. Final pay is based on experience and skill level.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday – 5/10 Schedule.

Per Diem:
For eligible travelers, a per diem of $120 per day worked is available. Restrictions apply.

• Help install and repair wiring systems, electrical fixtures, and equipment.
• Install conduits including bending, cutting, and threading up to 4-inch diameter rigid steel to hold electrical wires and cables.
• Replace conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
• Install conductors, terminating (SES, panel boards, motor controls, PLCs, instruments, and junction boxes).
• Learn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes.
• Possess a good basic understanding of NFPA 70E and the NEC.

• Education:
  
  Must be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willing to enroll once hired. PCL will sponsor you in an apprenticeship program.
• Basic Knowledge:
  Understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Communication:
  Good communication skills for effective collaboration and learning.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rugged terrain and construction sites. Capable of performing tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
