2nd shift Industrial Plumber - Silent-Aire

Responsibilities

• Assist Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers when needed for projects as time allows.
• Apply problem‑solving skills.
• Brazing and soldering of copper pipe from ½ to 4 inches.
• Maintain working knowledge of technology changes, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Work with PVC pipe.
• Utilize power tools.
• Read blueprints and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform other assigned work as required.
• Follow safety policies, wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, steel‑toed boots, etc.).
• Manage time, complete tasks, and work safely in a shop environment with inherent hazards.
• Work effectively in a busy, small‑space environment.
• Handle communication with prudence and professionalism.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven experience as an industrial plumber with strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems.
• Completion of college, vocational, or technical training preferred (appropriate credentials and certifications).
• Shift work and ability to work in small spaces.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, tactful, diplomatic, professional at all times.
• Ability to follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
