We are hiring a Service Technician at Redstone at San Tan Village in Gilbert, AZ. In this role, you will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional pay potential for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***

• 1 year of experience as an apartment maintenance technician is required.
• Previous experience troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC systems is required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain EPA certification upon hire.
• General knowledge in the following areas:
  Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark‑Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, assure pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re‑key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
• Share on‑call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and be readily available to go the property if needed in uniform and badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
