Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

This is a full-time remote role for a Mechanic at Westgro Contracting. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on heavy equipment, conducting preventive maintenance inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Additional responsibilities include ensuring equipment is in optimal operating condition, coordinating necessary repairs, and adhering to safety procedures and protocols.

• Experience in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of machinery
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues
• Hands‑on experience with Heavy Equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a construction environment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous experience in GPS‑controlled equipment is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• West Gro Contracting will provide service truck vehicle (can drive to and from home)
