Industrial Plumber - Silent-Aire

Job Overview

Shift 1L (5:00 AM-1:30 PM). The role assists Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers as necessary for projects as time allows.

• Assist Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers as necessary for projects as time allows.
• Problem-solve as required.
• Braid and solder copper pipe ½” – 4”.
• Maintain working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Work with PVC pipe.
• Use power tools.
• Perform other assigned work as required.
• Read blueprints and follow SOPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proven experience as an industrial plumber, with strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems.
• Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and certifications.
• Ability to work shift work.
• Ability to work in small spaces.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Must adhere to safety policies and wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, steel‑toed boots, etc.).

Shop work: must exercise caution as the environment presents many naturally occurring and potentially worker‑produced hazards. Safety policies must always be adhered to. Personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, steel‑toed boots, and others) must always be worn where required.
