1st Shift Industrial Plumber - Silent-Aire

Shift Schedule

Shift 1:
Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Silent‑Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, designs and manufactures large‑scale industrial equipment for data center customers.

• Assists Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers as necessary for projects as time allows.
• Problem‑solving on job tasks.
• Braze and solder copper pipe ½” – 4”.
• Maintain a working knowledge of technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Work with PVC pipe.
• Use power tools.
• Perform other assigned work as required.
• Read blueprints and follow SOPs.

• Proven experience as an industrial plumber with strong knowledge of industrial plumbing systems.
• Experience working shop‑level duties with safety at the forefront.
• Adherence to safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and steel‑toed boots).
• Work shift availability and ability to work in small spaces.
• Independent work in a busy environment, with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, complete tasks efficiently, and work safely under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and professional interaction with others.
• Completion of college, vocational, or technical training preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
