INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRY — Maryvale, Arizona

District Medical Group, Inc. (DMG), a large multi-specialty faculty practice group, is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program to staff Valley wise Behavioral Health Center Maryvale. The ideal candidate enjoys working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. Caseload is 10–11 patients. Duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching rotating medical students. Faculty appointments are available to the Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine, both in Phoenix.

This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

• Staff an inpatient adult psychiatry service with a caseload of 10–11 patients.
• Collaborate with a psychiatric nurse practitioner to coordinate patient care.
• Teach rotating medical students; potential faculty appointments at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.

• Board certified or in the process of board certification.
• Arizona medical license prior to starting employment.

• Full-time position with benefits, including four weeks of paid time off.
