Team Gilbert is seeking a highly motivated Recreation Leader – Kiddy Korner to lead programs for children ages 18 months to 7 years. This role supports our mission to provide best‑in‑class service and professional growth. The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Assist with implementing facility programs and events.
- Prepare activities, curriculum, and lead assigned activities; adapt to participants’ needs; manage classroom and maintain records.
- Provide customer service, field questions and resolve conflicts with internal and external customers.
- Facilitate a range of activities, crafts and games for children in a safe, friendly environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, respond to emergency situations, and resolve conflicts.
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible availability: 10–15 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 8 am–12 pm and 4 pm–8 pm, Friday 8 am–12 pm and 4 pm–7:30 pm, with rotating Saturdays 8 am–1 pm.
- Maintain CPR and Standard First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must be 18 years or older.
This is an at‑will, FLSA non‑exempt position eligible for overtime compensation. The role requires a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and fingerprinting.
This position is designated as a Medium work activity, involving office, warehouse, outdoor, and field settings.
