29 are recruiting for a Software Developer, who will design and maintain scripts, applications, and digital infrastructure that support automation and continuous improvement across renewable energy operations. This role plays a key part in enabling efficient data collection, querying, and operational workflows for solar, wind, and BESS.
Working closely with SCADA, Performance Engineering, and Asset Management teams, the developer will build and maintain tools for auditing, reporting, automation, and compliance. While this role does not perform direct performance analytics, it provides the technical foundation that enables those analyses.

Key Responsibilities Scripting & API Development- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and APIs to interface with work orders, logs, and operational systems for auditing, reporting, operational tracking, and monthly compliance reviews.
- Support automated reporting, data queries, dashboards, and historical data pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs to streamline workflows and automate manual processes.
- Design, deploy, and maintain internal tools that support the Control Room, Performance Engineering, and Asset Management teams.
- Manage specifications, procurement, and installation of servers, firewalls, and ISP services required for data integration.
- Coordinate with network service providers to enable secure plant connectivity and remote access for ROCC and Engineering teams.
- Support remote event data collection, including establishing access to substation relays following plant trips.
- Assist with new plant onboarding by updating KPI methodologies, mapping DC circuits, and uploading plant metadata into internal databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience in software development, scripting, and data infrastructure, preferably within industrial or energy environments.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, BESS) and operational platforms such as CMMS or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI; experience working with APIs, databases, and dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation, reliability, and system integration.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
- Industry-relevant certifications (e.g., Python and/or SQL) are a plus.
