POSITION SUMMARY
The Full Stack Developer builds, customizes, and maintains the technical infrastructure of the Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) management system and all its components. This position engineers custom solutions that empower our ministry to scale. In all actions, the Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) team leadership distinctives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCustom Plugin Development: Design and develop custom RockRMS blocks, plugins, and API integrations using Lava and the .NET Framework.
Database Engineering: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure data is accurate and performant.
Front-End Customization: Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Lava, HTML, CSS, and Obsidian/Vue.js within the Rock ecosystem.
System Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between RockRMS and third-party platforms, including our mobile app.
Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize code to handle high-traffic events like Easter or large-scale giving campaigns.

Backend - Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
Database - Advanced T‑SQL skills (Performance tuning, complex joins, and data migrations).
Templating - Expert‑level mastery of Lava (Rock’s engine for dynamic content).
Frontend - HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Bootstrap or Vue.js.
Tools - Git/Git Hub, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
2+ years of professional experience developing specifically within the RockRMS framework.
Experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
Familiarity with church ministry workflows (Contributions, Check-in, Groups).
A portfolio of custom Rock blocks or contributions to the Rock Shop is a major plus.
