Job Title: Music Accompanist

Location: Campbell County School District #1, Twin Spruce Junior High School, Gillette, Wyoming

Purpose Statement: Provide accompaniment for rehearsals and performances; assist with classroom clerical tasks; serve as an instructional resource for students and teachers in fine arts.

• Analyze assigned music prior to rehearsal to ensure efficient use of rehearsal time.
• Assist the Choral Instructor in training students in the art of accompaniment.
• Assist the teacher in supervising student activities to ensure efficient use of class time.
• Exhibit professional and stage etiquette to maintain professionalism of musical productions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure effective functioning of the work unit.
• Rehearse with choral groups for full and sectional accompaniment.
