Provides a comprehensive speech/language program to children from birth through age five including screening, assessment, intervention and case management while adhering to rules and regulations governing services to children with disabilities. Assesses and treats communication disorders which include production and fluency, language, cognition, voice, resonance and swallowing (all aspects of swallowing as well as feeding). Provides these services in collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families.

Works to optimize individual's and family’s abilities to communicate and swallow/feed, thereby improving quality of life.

Required

Education and Experience:

• Graduate Degree in Speech Pathology or related field
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience (will accept a CFY‑SLP per ASHA certification requirements)
• Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities

Required Licenses or

Certifications:

• Class C driver’s license
• State of Wyoming License in Speech–Language Pathology and American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology
• Ability to pass State and Federal background checks
• Ability to maintain certification in CPR and First Aid
