Summary/ObjectiveThe Operations Program Manager assists the Director of Booth Hall in leading daily correctional operations. This position provides direct supervision to Security Technicians and ensures consistent operational enforcement of VOA, BOP, and WDOC policies and procedures.
The Operations Program Manager is responsible for staffing, scheduling, enforcing discipline, security operations, and daily program execution. This position collaborates with the Administrative Program Manager to ensure documentation, compliance monitoring, and reporting requirements are met.
Essential Functions- Provides direct supervision to Security Technicians, including staff scheduling, timecard approval, assisting with performance management, mentoring and developing staff.
- Fills in for Security Technician shifts as needed.
- Monitors and ensures the completion of dorm searches, vehicle searches, property searches, UAs, and property matrix documentation.
- Ensures staff maintain the facility cleanliness and order.
- Conducts the weekly Health & Safety Checklist and ensures corrective actions are completed.
- Participates in on-call rotation as required.
- Fills in as the Disciplinary Officer for residents as needed.
- Assists with resident issues and conflict resolution.
- Ensures consistent enforcement of resident handbook and program rules.
- Assists in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of Security Technicians.
- Ensures daily operational compliance with VOA, BOP, and WDOC policies.
- Ensures facility compliance with fire, safety, and health department standards in collaboration with the Administrative Program Manager.
- Regularly communicates with the Director, Senior Leadership, Probation & Parole, WDOC, and BOP representatives.
- Represents the organization professionally in daily interactions.
- Prepares reports and correspondence as requested.
- Attends meetings and training as required and assists with monthly staff training as needed.
- Coordinates Resident transportation logistics for new DOC/BOP residents with security staff.
- Collaborates with the Administrative Program Manager to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Provides direct administrative support to the Program Director.

This position provides direct supervision to security technicians.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment inside of a Residential Living Center. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
