Production Technician

Eagle Summit Resources dba Eagle Specialty Materials is a mining company operating two mines in the Powder River Basin with over 500 employees. The Production Technician will perform any/all duties associated with safe, open pit mining operations.

• Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the physical demands analysis.
• Pre-start inspection of equipment and work environment.
• Maintain safe work environment and practices.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12 hour rotating shift.
• Attend team meetings both on and off shift.
• Active participant in the team process by performing team meeting roles, accepting, and completing AIP’s and striving for continuous improvement.
• Develop relationships conducive to superior performance.
• Maintain professional communications with all departments.
• Other tasks or projects as assigned.
• Comply with Company drug and alcohol program.

$28.37 – $38.80 / hour

• Demonstrated ability to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and make adjustments to meet them.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe work environment, equipment, and facilities.
• Possess effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current MSHA 5000-23 certification.
• Previous heavy equipment operating experience.

Eagle Butte and Belle Ayr Mines, Gillette, WY.

Full-Time (Non-Exempt).

Rotating Days and Nights.
