Manual Machinist

Our client, a leading motor repair shop dedicated to precision and quality, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the shop operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manual Machinist

Location: Gillette, WY

Pay Range: $30-$40

Shift: 5am to 3pm

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation

What's Needed?

• Experience operating manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in measuring and inspecting parts with precision tools
• Strong understanding of machining principles and safety procedures
• Willingness to start immediately and commit to full-time hours
