Manual Machinist

Our client, a leading motor repair shop dedicated to precision and quality, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the shop operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** 5am to 3pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Set up and operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, and grinders

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

+ Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges

+ Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials

+ Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation

** What's Needed?*
* + Experience operating manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

+ Proficiency in measuring and inspecting parts with precision tools

+ Strong understanding of machining principles and safety procedures

+ Willingness to start immediately and commit to full-time hours
