Our client, industry-leading manufacturing and machining services provider, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be part of the skilled production department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Gillette, WY
Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Full-time, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
What's the Job?
Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately.
Measure and inspect parts using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials to optimize machining processes.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to maintain optimal performance.
What's Needed?
Previous manual machining or machinist experience is required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work safely in a shop environment and follow all safety procedures.
