The Trauma Coordinator assesses, plans, and implements patient care while collaborating with other departments to ensure excellence in care aligned with Campbell County Health’s mission, vision, and values. This role integrates departmental improvement goals across the care continuum, coordinates and may delegate unit and patient care activities, and serves as a clinical expert. The Trauma Coordinator provides teaching, mentoring, consultation, and quality improvement, guiding nursing projects and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe, cost‑effective, and evidence‑based care.

• Demonstrates competency in the duties of the ECD Registered Nurse.
• Develops and coordinates education for staff including ENPC and TNCC Course Coordinator
• Performs all duties for trauma registry data input, quality monitoring
• Serves as a technical resource by participating in trauma care, assisting with establishment of priorities, assessment, planning, interventions of trauma care
• Participates in planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating outcomes for the trauma program
• Coordinates nursing aspects of the trauma program with nurse manager and CNO
• Provides service excellence to all customers.
• Demonstrates efficient time management and prioritization skills.
• Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.
• Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.
• Actively participates in hospital committees including Decon and Emergency Preparedness
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
• Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.

• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required.
• Licensure
  • Current RN license in the state of Wyoming
• Experience
  • Experience in emergency or critical care nursing required.
