Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled full‑time Small or Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our collaborative and supportive team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high‑quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.
Animal Medical Center of Wyoming in Gillette, WY, was founded in 1991 by Colorado State University grads Dr. Darren Lynde and Dr. Marshall Kohr. Our hospital is a staple in the community for over 30 years. We are deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Our hospital is a full‑service, mixed animal practice primarily treating dogs, cats, horses, and cows, with occasional care for pocket pets and other large animals like goats, pigs, llamas, and donkeys.
State‑of‑the‑ArtFacilities
- Small Animal Hospital: Six exam rooms, surgery suite, Sound‑Elkin digital radiography, digital dental radiography, GE Logic digital ultrasound with Doppler, and access to Pet Rays for advanced image interpretation.
- Large Animal Hospital: Equine exam area, endoscopy, surgical area for non‑intubation procedures, cattle chute, heated barn with seven stalls, clinic trucks for house calls, and Arthrex ACS and PRP systems.
- Advanced Dentistry: Full mouth radiographs for every patient and advanced training for new veterinarians and technicians with a board‑certified dentist.
- Comprehensive Services: Boarding, cremation services, and a pet food outlet.
