Cashier Sales Associate

CBH Cooperative is seeking a reliable Cashier Sales Associate to provide friendly, efficient service to customers at our Sturgis, SD location. In this role, you will operate the POS system, accurately process cash and card transactions, and promote CBH products and services that support local producers and rural communities. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized checkout and sales area, restock merchandise, and follow all safety and cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient service
• Operate POS system to accurately process cash, card, and other transactions
• Promote CBH Cooperative products, services, and seasonal specials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe checkout and sales areas
• Monitor inventory levels; restock shelves and displays as needed
• Follow all cash-handling, safety, and loss-prevention procedures
• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions
• Assist with receiving, labeling, and displaying incoming merchandise
• Collaborate with team members to meet store service and sales goals
• Uphold CBH Cooperative policies and support a safety-first culture
