Assist with the supervision of electrical construction and electrical facility design, and perform electrical maintenance within an oil and gas production environment. Electrical facilities include motors and motor controls for sucker rod pumps, electric submersible pumps, LACT units, saltwater disposal facilities, vapor recovery units, miscellaneous pumps, PLC controls, and instrumentation. This field position requires working with the necessary tools for maintenance and collaborating well within a team environment.
Qualifications2+ years of oilfield or industrial electrical experience performing installations and maintenance, high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills.
Familiarity with motors and basic control circuits, AC variable frequency drives, relay logic, instruments and instrumentation loops, basic PLC fundamentals, and NEC and electrical code interpretation.
Proficiency in industrial communications, PLC programming or other advanced logic, instrumentation, oilfield design and wiring methods, electrician or project management is a plus.
Good driving record required.
