Welder​/Millwright

Overview

Welder/Millwright position based in Gillette, Wyoming with Interstate Power Systems. The role supports mining, oil and gas, power generation, and processing customers, performing welding duties and mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment in industrial settings. The ideal candidate should live in the greater Gillette area.

• Plant maintenance, crusher rebuilds, conveyor repairs, and various welding repairs and projects.
• Welding repairs to large mining equipment including shovels, draglines, and haul trucks.
• Fabrication according to prints.
• Experience with stick and wire feed (dual shield) preferred, as well as experience with hard wire and hard facing.
• Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Experience reading blueprints, with two years of experience.
• Efficient in field boring and operation of a lathe.

• High school degree or GED.
• At least 3 years of welding experience.
• Own set of general tools.
• Technical degree or certification a plus.
• Must be physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and work with no restrictions.
