The City of Gillette is seeking a Diesel Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair a wide range of city vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have an Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology, and ASE certification, with the ability to obtain CDL within six months.
Responsibilities include servicing heavy equipment, performing engine and hydraulic repairs, completing maintenance work orders, and responding to after-hours breakdowns as needed.
