Electric Motor Mechanic

Our client, a leading industrial services provider, is seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to join their team. As an Electric Motor Mechanic, you will be part of the repair and maintenance department supporting industrial operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electric Motor Mechanic

Location: Gillette, WY

Pay Range: $24.00–$40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform repairs on special and standard AC and DC electromechanical equipment
• Operate specialized repair and testing equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Replace and repair mechanical components such as brushes, gears, and seals
• Operate overhead cranes and medium-voltage test panels safely and efficiently
• Accurately document work performed, including time and job details

What's Needed?

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience repairing AC and DC electromechanical equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
• Understanding of electric motor components and basic electrical theory
• Experience using dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, surge testers, and megger testers
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate forklifts (certification provided if applicable)
