Control & Electrical Technician

Pacifi Corp is seeking a Control & Electrical Technician to support safe, reliable operation of critical electric infrastructure across our western service territory. In this on-site role, you will install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for generation, transmission and distribution assets, including PLCs, SCADA equipment, motor controls and instrumentation. Working in a safety-focused, highly regulated environment, you will interpret schematics, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support grid modernization and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems for utility generation, transmission and distribution assets.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, SCADA equipment, motor controls, instrumentation and protection systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and control diagrams to diagnose issues and implement repairs.
• Support grid reliability, modernization and renewable integration projects through installation and commissioning of control equipment.
• Follow strict safety, LOTO and regulatory procedures in a highly regulated utility environment.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and field crews to minimize downtime and ensure reliable service.
• Document maintenance activities, test results and configuration changes in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
