What You'll DoAs an Electric Motor Mechanic, you'll repair, rebuild, test, and maintain AC/DC electric motors and electro-mechanical equipment used across a variety of industries. You'll work with specialized testing equipment, precision tools, and rotating machinery while helping keep customers' operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and rebuild AC & DC electric motors and electro-mechanical equipment
- Dynamically balance rotor and armature assemblies
- Replace and repair mechanical components including gears, seals, bearings, and brushes
- Operate specialized testing and repair equipment
- Utilize overhead cranes and medium-voltage test panels
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
- Operate forklifts and follow all safety protocols
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
Preferred:
Candidates with basic knowledge of AC/DC electro-mechanical equipment.
Required:
Strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and a willingness to learn.
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical repair experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of motor components and basic electrical theory
Experience using precision measuring and testing equipment, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Dial Indicators
- Surge Testers
- Megger Testers
- Self-motivated and dependable work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Driver's License required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the day
Strong close vision and attention to detail for precision work

Pay Details: $24.00 to $40.00 per hour
