Job Type: Full-time with overtime

Experience:

1 year preferred (Will train)

Reports to:

Foreman, no supervisory responsibility

Wage: $30+ per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Semi-Truck Driver will supply various materials to our worksites and plants. The Semi-Truck Driver is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Travel is REQUIRED!

Primary Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required.

* Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed.

* Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.

* Knowledge of properly securing loads.

* Help set up and tear down job sites when moving locations (if needed).

* Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns.

* Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).

Position Requirements :

* Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.

* Class A CDL.

* Clean DMV record.

* Basic maintenance skills.

* Must follow all applicable DOT laws.

* Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.

* Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
