Semi-Truck Driver (Asphalt Paving Division) Job Summary
The Semi-Truck Driver will supply various materials to our worksites and plants. The position is full-time and requires overtime through peak season. The driver reports to the Foreman and has no supervisory responsibility.

- Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required.
- Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Knowledge of properly securing loads.
- Help set up and tear down job sites when moving locations (if needed).
- Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- Class A CDL.
- Clean DMV record.
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Must follow all applicable DOT laws.
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
- Ability to reach below/at/above shoulders
- Pushing/Pulling/Twisting/Bending
- Operate hand and foot controls
- Simple/Firm grasping/Pinching
- Ability to lift/lower/carry over 50 pounds
- Squatting/Stooping/Crouching/Kneeling/Crawling
