We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Driver to support our construction operations by transporting materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites. This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and experience operating heavy‑duty trucks in a construction environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining safety and compliance on the road and at job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dump trucks, flatbeds, lowboys, and other commercial vehicles to transport construction materials and equipment.
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment or assist with manual loading/unloading.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any issues or needed repairs.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inspection reports.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with securing loads using chains, straps, or tarps as needed.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members to coordinate deliveries.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance and assist with equipment mobilization when required.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class

    A.
  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction or heavy equipment transport.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
  • Familiarity with construction job sites and material handling.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers, or other loading equipment is a plus.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for pre‑trip inspections and minor repairs.
  • Setting: Outdoor construction sites, highways, and urban/rural roads.
  • Conditions: Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment.
  • Hazards: Requires strict adherence to safety protocols to avoid injury from traffic, equipment, or load handling.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Frequent climbing in and out of trucks.
  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for securing loads and operating equipment.
Schedule

May include early mornings, long shifts, overtime, and weekend work depending on project timelines and weather conditions.
