Van Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Van Technician to join our client's reputable service centre in Gillingham, Kent. This is a vital role within a well-established dealership, offering stability, career development, and competitive remuneration. OTE of £52,000+ annual earnings

Duties of a Van Technician:

Provide technical diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles
Complete vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Maintain high levels of technical expertise through manufacturer training programmes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
Assist in achieving customer satisfaction and dealership productivity targets as a Van Technician
Uphold manufacturer and company quality procedures at all times

Requirements of a Van Technician:

City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, preferably with light commercial vehicles (LCV)
MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Prior experience within a franchised dealership environment is advantageous
