Pertemps  are recruiting an experienced  Painter & Decorator  to join a busy Facilities Management team in  Gillingham, Kent  on a temporary assignment.

Location:

Gillingham, Kent
Pay Rate:  £16.97 per hour PAYE (paid weekly)

Contract:

Temporary Assignment (01 September 2026 - 31 October 2026)

Hours:

09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Occasional weekend work may be required
Basic DBS check required , or willingness to undertake one

The Role As a  Painter & Decorator , you will be responsible for carrying out a range of decorating and maintenance tasks across facilities, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Painter & Decorator

Key Responsibilities
Interior and exterior painting and decorating
Surface preparation including sanding, filling and cleaning
Applying paint, gloss, varnish and specialist finishes
Touch-up, repair and maintenance work
Ensuring all work areas are left clean and tidy
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Delivering excellent customer service and workmanship
