About the Role
Skanska is searching for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for a project in San Jose. The manager will integrate environmental health and safety services into business practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role is project-based, overseeing EHS responsibilities and interacting with staff, superintendents, project managers, executives and regional EHS directors.
Core Responsibilities- Identify safety hazards and recommend appropriate controls
- Communicate safety information with employees at all levels in a construction environment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations
- Provide written communication and reports
- Support the project team in maintaining a safe site
- 5+ years’ experience in safety roles within construction
- OSHA 30 certification
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent; minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
Salary: USD $ to $ per year.
