Roles & Responsibilities
Assess communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans that make measurable impact
Deliver compassionate, goal-directed therapy to patients of varied ages
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
Educate patients, families, and staff to ensure carryover and safety
Adapt therapy approaches for diverse needs and clinical settings
Qualifications
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain one
ASHA CCC-SLP strongly preferred or in-progress
Active professional liability coverage (or ability to obtain)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable working in diverse clinical settings and collaborating with teams
Excellent clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and patient rapport
Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Knowledge & Skills
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills in speech, language, and swallowing
Proficiency with patient documentation and outcome measurement
Ability to adapt therapy for pediatrics through adults as needed
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Time management and caseload prioritization in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
