We are recruiting for a Special Needs, 24/7 client in Gilroy. We have openings for our evening shift 3:30pm - 11:00pm, as well as our overnight shift 11pm - 7am. Candidates with "Anytime Availability" will be given the highest priority in hiring selections. This assignment is very involved, and is not for caregivers who want companionship-only roles.

$20 - $24 per hour

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Assist with medication reminders
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Foster independence and promote social interaction

• Previous caregiver experience required
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS
• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
