Seeking a Per Diem Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for School Nursing Role & Responsibilities
- Manage care for students with chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes, coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
- Monitor immunization records to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or illnesses.
- Develop and execute emergency response plans and drills.
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records.
- Communicate with parents about health concerns and follow-up needs.
- Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- California nursing license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Current negative TB test.
- Passion for working with children and providing healthcare support in school settings.
- Work in-person in a school environment, Monday through Friday, day shifts, with no weekends.
