Job Coach, Social Work, Career & Life Skills Coaching

Hope Services seeks an on-call Job Coach to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment in the Bay Area. The Job Coach provides on-site training, coaching, and support to help clients learn job tasks, develop workplace skills, and adjust to new work environments. Responsibilities include creating support plans, documenting progress, collaborating with employers and families, and promoting inclusion and independence.

This flexible, on-call role is ideal for compassionate, mission-driven professionals who want to directly impact clients' lives while gaining experience in human services.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in employment settings
• Support clients in learning job tasks, workplace expectations, and soft skills
• Develop individualized employment and support plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and goals in case management systems
• Communicate regularly with employers, families, and supervisors regarding client performance
• Advocate for workplace accommodations and inclusive practices as needed
• Respond to on-call requests to provide job site support or crisis intervention
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement activities
